New Dean of the LSU College of Music & Dramatic Arts

BATON ROUGE – LSU has named Todd Queen as the new dean of the College of Music & Dramatic Arts. Queen is a professor of voice and the chair of the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University. He will begin at LSU on July 1, pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors.

“We are pleased to welcome Todd Queen to the LSU leadership team as the next dean of the College of Music & Dramatic Arts,” LSU President & Chancellor F. King Alexander said. “The arts are such a vital part of the college experience in producing well-rounded students and citizens. We look forward to working with Todd in leading the college into the future.”

 

LSU conducted a national search for dean, and Alkis Tsolakis, dean of the LSU College of Art & Design, served as chair of the search committee.
