BATON ROUGE – Tish O’Connor, an instructor in the Department of Finance and the assistant director of the SMART Lab, was recently awarded the Teaching Enhancement Fund Award, established by Campus Federal Credit Union. As a recipient of the award, O’Connor will be able to attend the Global Asset Management Education, or GAME, Forum in New York, scheduled to be held April 4-6.
“I am honored to receive Campus Federal Credit Union’s Teaching Enhancement Fund Award.” O’Connor said. “Attending this conference will enable me to benchmark with other university representatives on best practices, learn about current real-world investment strategies and understand the framework from which we are operating from great financial minds.”
The GAME Forum is a conduit between investment management leaders and an international group of college students and faculty. A variety of topics from corporate governance to global stock markets will be covered in keynote panels.
Campus Federal developed LSU’s Teaching Enhancement Awards for outstanding faculty and campus programs that bring together the entire community.
